Jesus gave us a mission to make disciples of all nations. The Gospel is spreading. The Church is growing globally. Billions still need access. The mission is unfinished — but it is possible.
The Gospel is spreading — but the mission is far from finished. Here is where the world stands today.

In one century, the center of global Christianity moved from Europe to the Global South. This is the most dramatic geographic shift in Christian history — and it changes everything about mission strategy.

Over 80% of Christians lived in Europe and North America. Mission was seen as going 'from the West to the rest.'
Post-colonial revival movements in Africa, Latin America, and Asia began reshaping the global church. Pentecostalism exploded across the Global South.
For the first time in history, the majority of Christians lived outside Europe and North America. The church's center of gravity had moved south.
Sub-Saharan Africa is now the largest Christian region on Earth. The mission force is now global — and the sending church is no longer just Western.
"After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb."
— Revelation 7:9
The greatest need is not where Christianity is weak — it is where it is barely present. Over 3.5 billion people live in people groups with little or no access to the Gospel. This is the mission gap.
The "10/40 Window" refers to the geographic band between 10° and 40° North latitude, stretching from West Africa through the Middle East to East Asia. This region contains:
The 10/40 Window is not just a geographic concept — it is a strategic reality. The regions with the least gospel access are also the most resistant to traditional mission methods. New strategies, local leaders, and prayer are essential.
Algeria is seeing thousands come to faith. Iran has one of the fastest-growing underground churches. God is moving in the 10/40 Window — and He is calling His people to pray, give, and go.
Predominantly Muslim. Conversion is illegal or dangerous in many areas. Yet Algeria is seeing remarkable church growth.
The birthplace of Christianity is now among the least reached. Persecution is severe. Underground churches are growing.
Home to the largest concentration of unreached people groups on Earth. Caste barriers and religious nationalism create enormous obstacles.
Communist and authoritarian governments restrict religious freedom. Yet underground house church movements are among the fastest growing in history.
The mission gap is real. But it is not hopeless.
Every prayer, every dollar, every disciple-maker matters. The frontier is not unreachable — it is just unreached.

Addition is good. Multiplication is the only strategy that can reach the world. If one person makes one disciple per year, and each disciple does the same — in 33 years, you could reach the entire world.
1 disciple-maker × 1 new disciple per year × each doing the same
This is the math of Matthew 28. Multiplication is not a strategy — it is a mandate.
Every disciple-maker must first be a disciple. You cannot give what you do not have. Invest in your own spiritual formation.
Invest deeply in one or two people. Teach them what Jesus taught you. Walk with them through life. This is the core of the Great Commission.
The key to multiplication is not just making disciples — it is making disciple-makers. Equip those you disciple to do the same.
Paul told Timothy: 'The things you have heard me say... entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.' (2 Tim 2:2)
"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others."
— 2 Timothy 2:2
There is no single strategy that will reach the world — but together, these 13 approaches cover every context, every culture, and every generation.
